I am sure that this will be up for debate, but I feel the easiest way to clean you pipe or bong is to use Rubbing Alcohol, Salt and Rice.

The alcohol is what breaks down the sludge. You add the rice and salt to act as scrubbers. If you have a bong, You can add all these directly to the tube and shake away. Read the rest of this entry »

Acetone

So I just heard that Acetone was a “killer” way to clean your bong. Holy Crap…Acetone?

I always knew this stuff to be the main ingredient of nail polish remover. According to Wikipedia : Acetone is a colorless and flammable liquid. Sweet. They also state that it can melt certain plastics. Please be careful if you go this route.

I will test this at some point and will include before and after photos.

The only way to clean up this world is one bong at a time.

Most dentures are made from porcelain, a type of ceramic or they are made of resin, a very hard plastic. Hence this product lends itself to the bong and pipe cleaning world.
