There is a way to rescue the resin but it's very cracky.

Filter your alcohol mixture into a cup using a coffee filter. This removes anything floating around. Pour the alcohol from a cup into a glass bowl. Place the bowl in a pot of water, and turn the stove on - but not hot enough to boil the water. You just want to evaporate the alcohol, which has a pretty low evaporation temperature. Leave this on the stove, being careful that the bowl doesn't tip over or the water start boiling. Might be a very bad idea to try this with a stove that has a flame, as alcohol vapor is very flammable.

What you'll be left with at the end is a mixture of water and THe aCtive ingredient, which you can roll cigarettes or blunts in. There's also a gooey substance stuck to the side of the bowl which can be scraped off and smoked.
