Acetone and bongs

Acetone

So I just heard that Acetone was a “killer” way to clean your bong. Holy Crap…Acetone?

I always knew this stuff to be the main ingredient of nail polish remover. According to Wikipedia : Acetone is a colorless and flammable liquid. Sweet. They also state that it can melt certain plastics. Please be careful if you go this route.

I will test this at some point and will include before and after photos.

    I use aceton for a long time now.
    I live in belgium, and here; iso alcool is very expensive 20$/liter.
    It is a nice way to clean bongs, BUT more water is needed to rince it (i do it 5 to 6 times)
    and the glass surface are less smoother after cleaning than with iso.

    Lobe aci. Never had any prob. And much cheaper then products sold in head shops. YAY for Home Cheapo (Home Depot… Duh?)
